Who: Neenah
Scope: To make limited edition items to inform and highlight to people about famous Comic Book artists from around the world.
Solution: Created brochures that highlight and teach about famous Comic Book artists from around the world.
Execution: Created a sleeve with a die-cut and die-cutted out the letters in the cover. Additionally, foiled the N of the Neenah logo. Designed 6 brochures that include the artwork of each artist as well as information about their career.
Production
I started off with sketches of what type of way I wanted to present the celebration of Comic Book Artists, and I decided on simple brochures with a sleeve to hold them.
For the sleeve I initially foiled the title onto the sleeve, but after I received feedback I decided to die-cut the title in the front of the sleeve in the shape of the Bungee typeface.
typography
For typefaces I chose Bungee as the title text as a callback to fun typography used in comic books. For the body text I used a simple San-serif typeface Acumin Pro for its legibility and readability.
A QR Code was added to the back of the brochure as way for anyone who was interested to further learn more about the artist.
